They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. Watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed her husband also, and he praises her:Īs a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you and you will be comforted over Jerusalem. She is clothed with strength and dignity she can laugh at the days to come. Speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Whether it is Mother’s Day or any day of the year, these are great passages. I also love these passages to read for even more encouragement. I encourage you to look up the actual reference for memorization. These are all wonderful verses to commit to memory. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.Īnd he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.Īnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. ![]() He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. ![]() Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
